with plain <strong>Print<\/strong> and with <strong>Publish<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<h4 id=\"with-print\">With <strong>Print<\/strong><\/h4>\n<ol>\n<li>Open the file to print<\/li>\n<li>Select <code>Print<\/code><\/li>\n<li>Configure the print page:<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"plotman_14.png\" src=\"https:\/\/camilion.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/02\/en_plotman_14.png\" title=\"\"><\/li>\n<li>Click OK.<\/li>\n<li>In each of the layout to be printed, the same page configuration must be selected.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h4 id=\"with-publish\">With <strong>Publish<\/strong><\/h4>\n<ol>\n<li>Open the file to print<\/li>\n<li>Confirm that all files to be printed have the same page configuration:<br \/>\n  &#8211; Same UCS<br \/>\n  &#8211; Units<br \/>\n  &#8211; Window properties.<br \/>\n  &#8211; Etc.<\/li>\n<li>Select <code>Print<\/code><\/li>\n<li>Configure the print page:<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"plotman_14.png\" src=\"https:\/\/camilion.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/02\/en_plotman_14.png\" title=\"\"><\/li>\n<li>Select <code>Publish<\/code><br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"plotman_15.png\" src=\"https:\/\/camilion.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/02\/en_plotman_15.png\" title=\"\"><\/li>\n<li>Click on <code>Publish<\/code><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h3 id=\"dealing-with-multiple-files\">Dealing with multiple files<\/h3>\n<p>If you also want to generate the PDF from several files with one or more layout, you must repeat the above procedure, only this time you must load in the Publish window, all the files and delete each of the sheets from the central window that refer to the models.<\/p>\n<p>In addition to this, if you want the PDF files to be of different paper sizes (<code>A1<\/code>, <code>A3<\/code>, etc.), you must repeat the entire process described above for each required paper size, generating for each one a specific page configuration.<\/p>\n<p>These are the common procedures that AutoCAD brings to the printing of PDF files, but they are very cumbersome, due to the large number of parameters that must be contemplated.<\/p>\n<h2 id=\"with-plotman-just-one-way\">With <a href=\"https:\/\/camilion.eu\/es\/apps\/PlotMan\/\">PlotMan<\/a>: just one way<\/h2>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"plotman_14.png\" src=\"https:\/\/camilion.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/02\/en_plotman_01.png\" title=\"\"><\/p>\n<p>With <a href=\"https:\/\/camilion.eu\/es\/apps\/PlotMan\/\">PlotMan<\/a>, generating PDFs of one or several files, multiple coordinate systems and paper sizes, is very simple.<\/p>\n<p>There is exactly one way to do it regardless of whether one or several drafts must be printed.<\/p>\n<p>The process is:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Open any file (.dwg).<\/li>\n<li>Call the <code>PLOTMAN<\/code> command.<\/li>\n<li>Select or drag and drop the files you wish to print and setup your plot:\n<ul>\n<li>Define the block of the frame.<\/li>\n<li>Define the type of pen.<\/li>\n<li>Quality of the resulting file.<\/li>\n<li>Indicate if you want a single PDF file or a PDF file for each file or a PDF file for each layout.<\/li>\n<li>Select the paper size of the PDF (one or multiple).<\/li>\n<li>etc.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Click on print.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h2 id=\"conclusion\">Conclusion<\/h2>\n<p>With <a href=\"https:\/\/camilion.eu\/es\/apps\/PlotMan\/\">PlotMan<\/a>, not only is the execution time of a batch plot reduced, but it also reduces the possibility of errors, since the instructions in the dialog box are handled only once.<\/p>\n<p>Our engineering and drafting teams use <a href=\"https:\/\/camilion.eu\/es\/apps\/PlotMan\/\">PlotMan<\/a> for whole projects but also even for just one draft.
